Kindergarten Snow Family!

My kindergarten classes painted the most awesome winter skies complete with glistening snowflakes falling on an unsuspecting snow family.  Background, foreground, middle ground and blending of colors to create the perfect winter day was the focus of this lesson.

Colorful Cityscapes

Hanging over these detailed skyscrapers are multi-colored Kandinsky inspired skies!! Fourth and fifth grade artists created a fantasy world where the skies moved with vibrancy and tall, black and white buildings stood in stark contrast.










It's Cold Outside!!

Winter was in full swing for these third grade artists!! Snow was falling and snowmen were playing their snowmen games under the soft moonlight!  Shadow, depth, and parts of an artwork was the focus of this chilly lesson!  Brrrrr...
