Terrific Turtles!

Sea turtles were the subject of this kindergarten, first and second grade project. After reading Follow The Moon, these young artists created their very own sea turtle friend.  Using pastels, watercolor paint, and glitter, students illustrated how life under the sea is for their loggerhead creatures.

Poured Paints

Colors flowed from a center point and slowly cascaded over the canvas, mixing and swirling to form the most brilliant designs.  Third, fourth, and fifth grade artists created these gorgeous poured paintings.

Mini Chihuly Bowls

Chihuly's glass sculptures are beautiful recreations of nature's magnificent forms.  The kindergarten classes made their version of Chihuly's artwork. Using markers, coffee filters, and starch, these young artist made these awesome pieces of art!

Realistic and colorful, these Pop Art style portraits catch the eye of those who pass by.  Students created these artworks by painting with acrylic paints on transprency paper.These are perfect representations of our fourth and fifth graders!

RAINBOW Selfies

Kindergarten artists have been making selfies with colorful rainbow backgrounds! By mixing glue and water, students used tissue paper to create this bright artwork. In the middle ground, these young artists added contour drawings of themselves! What a great way to express who they are!
